Solving NVMe Read Latency
I felt totally ripped out of the experience while galloping through Tsushima; these tiny visual tears and loading lags were a total pain. I first tried disabling the indexing service in Windows Disk Management, but the loading speed barely budged, leaving me frustrated. I then used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to bump the queue depth from 1024 to 2048 and enabled the forced write cache flush. After testing, CrystalDiskMark showed response times converged to 6-11ms, while HWMonitor confirmed the drive stayed at 42-52℃ and AIDA64 measured 4K reads at 45-62 MB/s.
