Why does input lag keep appearing in Fortnite, is the RAM frequency out of range?

I felt the character response lagging badly during close-quarters combat in Fortnite. My ADATA Valor RAM was downclocking to 2133MHz, causing latency to jump from 16ms to 22ms. I tried adjusting the Windows power plan, but that only made the input unresponsiveness worse. I then used GamePP Hardware Sensor to verify the signal integrity, manually reseated the module, and cleaned the gold contacts. After the fix, GamePP Memory Controller Monitor confirmed the frequency stabilized at 2400MHz and latency dropped to a smooth 14-15ms. The game finally felt as tight as it should.
