Why does Dead Space 2 Remake freeze during medical bay loading?

While navigating eerie corridors, I noticed the screen freezes for 0.4 seconds every time a new area loads, which totally killed the immersion. I tried disabling all background update services in Windows, but this did nothing for the bandwidth bottleneck, leaving me stuck. I then used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to increase the queue depth from 1024 to 2048 and enabled forced write cache flush. CrystalDiskMark confirmed random reads rose to 58-65 MB/s, with I/O response times at 22-48ms via AIDA64 and temps at 46-52℃ per HWMonitor.
