How do I reduce fan noise without overheating in CoD 2?

I was losing my mind during alley firefights because the Thermalright PS120 SE screamed louder than the gunfire. I tried dropping the RPM to 1200, but AIDA64 showed temps spiking to 85C, causing severe stuttering. Then I used GamePP Fan Curve Configuration to set the target at 75C to 1600 RPM, smoothing the slope. Now, AIDA64 confirms stable 75-78C temps, and HWiNFO shows 1800 RPM under load, keeping the noise down so I can actually hear footsteps.
