Fixing CPU Thermal Throttling
During large-scale sieges, I noticed the CPU temperature skyrocketing to 86-92℃ per AIDA64, causing frequencies to plummet from 4.4GHz to 3.1GHz and breaking my immersion. I tried setting the fans to full speed in the BIOS, but the noise was unbearable and the temperature only dropped by 2℃, which was a crude solution. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to raise the 78℃ threshold from 60% to 95% and set a -0.02V voltage offset. Cinebench R23 tests confirmed the core temperature is now suppressed to 74-80℃ per HWInfo64, with frequencies stable at 4.0-4.4GHz per CPU-Z.
