Solving Lost Ark Read Latency
While exploring Arkrasia, I noticed a 0.7s micro-freeze whenever switching large areas, which felt jarring. I tried disabling the write cache in the system for stability, but loading times actually increased by 2 seconds, leaving me frustrated. I used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to raise the queue depth from 1024 to 2048 and enabled the forced write cache flush. CrystalDiskMark confirmed 4K random reads rose from 45MB/s to 68MB/s, and AIDA64 showed temperatures stable at 48-55℃.
