Should I change cooling modes for the ML360 Sub-Zero in Where Winds Meet?
Absolutely mind-blowing! The moment I switched the semiconductor condensation mode from 'Eco' to 'Max', my core temps plummeted by 12°C. The ML360 Sub-Zero is a beast, but in default mode, the delta between the cooling plate and the CPU base isn't enough, leaving me with 82°C - 88°C fluctuations under load. I first tried cranking up the case intake, which lowered the ambient temp but didn't touch the core—that's when I realized the condensation efficiency was the real bottleneck. I used the control software to lock the cooling power at 100% and optimized the radiator exhaust path. I had a scary moment at first where a bit of condensation formed on the motherboard because it cooled too fast, but enabling the anti-condensation protection fixed it.
