Optimizing Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 6400 for Total War 3?
When you have 20,000 units clashing on screen, the frame rate just tanks from 60 down to 20, turning a grand strategy battle into a slideshow. My Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 6400 has great theoretical bandwidth, but the 32-39-39-76 timings were way too conservative, leaving the CPU just sitting there waiting for unit data. I tried lowering the unit scale in the settings, but that killed the whole vibe of the war, so I got excited to actually try some manual tuning.
