Fixing Open World Frame Spikes
I was excited to enter Chernobyl, but the frame rate jumped wildly, which is deadly in a stealth-oriented game. I tried updating all chipset drivers, but that actually caused random USB disconnects, leading to deep frustration. I used the GamePP Peripheral Driver Conflict Detection Tool to identify and disable a conflicting legacy audio driver. RivaTuner confirmed frame generation time converged from 14-45ms down to 12-16ms. AIDA64 showed CPU temps at 65-72℃, and HWInfo monitored the fan speed at 1800 RPM, ensuring the system remained stable during exploration.
