Fixing CPU Temp Spikes in Silent Hill 2
Loading Silent Hill 2 caused my CPU to spike to 92℃, dropping FPS to 60. I cranked fan speed first, but it was just noise. I used GamePP Hardware Sensor to check core temps, found uneven pressure, and reapplied thermal paste. Cinebench R23 showed temps stabilizing at 75-80℃. Frame times locked at 8-10ms. I switched to this configuration for stability.
