Preventing Instant CPU Overheat
Walking through eerie corridors, I noticed my CPU temperature rocket from 60℃ to 92℃ in seconds every time the lighting shifted. I tried lowering graphics settings to medium, but while HWMonitor showed a 5℃ drop, the loss of visual detail was unacceptable. I then used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to switch the mode to Aggressive, forcing 70% speed at 60℃. HWMonitor showed core peaks were suppressed to 75-82℃, and CPU-Z confirmed the frequency stopped jumping between 3.2-4.4GHz, eliminating the stutters.
