How do I stop thermal throttling in No Rest for the Wicked with Valkyrie V360 Lite?

My Valkyrie V360 Lite temps hit 85℃ quickly in No Rest for the Wicked, causing immediate throttling. I cranked the fans to 100%, but the noise was unbearable and it only dropped temps by 2℃. Useless. I used GamePP Fan Curve Config to set the fan acceleration trigger to start at 70℃ and replaced the thermal paste. AIDA64 stress tests showed core temps dropping to 72℃. Fan speeds stabilized at 1500-1800 RPM. The performance drop is gone, and the noise is manageable.
