Optimizing Fan Response Time
During galaxy jump calculations, my CPU load hit 100% and temps shot from 65℃ to 92℃ in just 2 seconds, causing immediate frequency drops. I tried setting the Windows power plan to 'Balanced', but while peak temps dropped by 3℃, my overall frame rate fell by 10 FPS, which was a disappointing compromise. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration to slash the response delay from 3 seconds to 0.5 seconds and activated predictive acceleration. RTSS showed the frame rate stabilized at 72-78 FPS, and AIDA64 confirmed CPU temperatures stayed between 74-80℃.
