Stabilizing ADATA ValuRAM 8GB DDR5 in MS Flight Simulator 2024

Just as I was enjoying the view from the clouds, a massive frame drop would hit, and the sudden jerk in smoothness was incredibly frustrating. The data showed that my ADATA ValuRAM 8GB DDR5 was hitting latency peaks of 14-20ms while streaming massive terrain data. I first tried increasing the page file to 32GB, but that just made the overall system feel sluggish—a classic case of treating the symptom, not the cause. I went into the BIOS, locked the memory frequency at 4800MHz instead of Auto, and bumped the VCCIO voltage from 1.1V to 1.2V. AIDA64 showed the read/write speeds stabilized at 35-38GB/s, and frame times tightened to 9-13ms. I did deal with two blue screens early on, but loosening the timings from 40-40-40 to 42-42-42 finally stopped the crashing. RAM temps are now 45-51℃ and VRMs are at 62-68℃. The flight is finally smooth, though 8GB is definitely pushing it.
