Boosting Mass Effect Frame Rates
In the detailed ship interiors of Mass Effect Legendary Edition, my frame rate dropped to 60 FPS despite high settings. I tried lowering graphics quality, but the visual degradation was unacceptable for this game. I realized the bottleneck was VRAM bandwidth. I accessed the GamePP Hardware Sensor Page and manually locked the VRAM frequency to 7000MHz to ensure consistent bandwidth utilization. The switch in performance was dramatic. The Frame Time Analyzer confirmed the frame rate recovered to a stable 85 FPS. HWiNFO showed core temperatures remained healthy between 65℃ and 70℃. The stutter is gone, and the visuals look exactly how they should.
