How to fix Fanxiang S910Max overheating in GTA VI?
While speeding through the city, my FPS would plummet from 110 to 40. I was actually hyped when I saw it because I knew exactly why: the Fanxiang S910Max is a furnace. Core temps were hitting 88°C - 94°C, triggering hardware-level throttling. I tried capping the PCIe speed to 4.0 in BIOS, which dropped temps to 60°C but halved my load speeds—totally unacceptable. I ended up swapping to high-grade thermal pads and aggressive M.2 fan curves that hit 100% at 65°C. HWInfo now shows temps stabilized at 58°C - 64°C, and the FPS swing narrowed from 40-110 down to a steady 95-105.
