Optimizing SATA SSD Read
Infiltrating bases was frustrating when distant buildings appeared as blocks of pixels, which is fatal in combat. I first tried the Windows High Performance power plan; while the CPU was snappier, CrystalDiskMark showed read speeds stuck at 400MB/s. I then used the GamePP Resource Scheduler to set I/O priority to maximum and optimized prefetching. The GamePP toolchain showed a 25% increase in loading speed, and HWiNFO64 confirmed disk temps at 38-43℃.
