Why does the PCCOOLER RT620 ARGB cause lag in Gray Zone?

Sprinting through the woods is great until the screen starts twitching, which makes you want to rip the cooler out of the case. The GamePP Hardware Sensor Page revealed that the PCCOOLER RT620 had a pathetic 4-6 second response delay, letting the CPU jump from 62°C to 89°C before the fans even reacted, causing the clock speed to tank. I first tried setting the fans to full blast in the BIOS, but the noise was unbearable and it was just overkill for low loads—a totally disappointing approach. I then used the GamePP Fan Curve Config Panel to slash the response delay from 3 seconds down to 0.5 seconds and redefined the 70-85°C ramp-up zone.
