Cooling Frostpunk 2 SSD Issues
Intense combat in Frostpunk 2 was painful. My Samsung 990 PRO 4TB was hitting 75℃, triggering thermal protection. I added case fans, but the noise was unbearable. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to raise the temperature threshold from 70℃ to 78℃ and optimized the fan curve. GamePP Temperature Monitor showed SSD temperature stabilizing at 65-68℃. Frame rate locked at 60 FPS. This switch keeps things cool.
