How to fix FPS drops in Dying Light 2 with WD Black SN750 SE?

I remember the pain of read latency fluctuating between 12-25ms per HWiNFO during fast descents, which caused terrible screen tearing. I updated my disk drivers to the latest version, but that only saved about 1 second of loading and did nothing to stop the stuttering. I used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to set the depth to 1024 and enabled the write cache flush. After this, random reads hit 78MB/s per CrystalDiskMark and HWiNFO showed a stable temp range of 42-50℃.
