WD Black SN770 I/O Fix for Armed to the Gears
Battles in Armed to the Gears were a mess with erratic frame rates due to driver mismatch on my WD Black SN770 1TB. I tried updating the driver manually, but the fluctuations persisted, which was incredibly annoying. I then used the GamePP Resource Scheduler Panel to optimize process priority and adjust the I/O scheduling strategy. RTSS showed frame time stabilizing from erratic spikes to a consistent 16ms. This I/O optimization is the necessary switch to resolve the instability caused by default scheduling conflicts.
