Improving power response on Galax B760M D4 Wi-Fi?

It's a joke that a 'White Phantom' board fails you at the worst moment, turning the game into a slideshow. Analysis showed the VRM on the Galax B760M was fluctuating between 1.10V and 1.28V during Turbo Boost, causing scheduling lags of 20-40ms. I tried the 'Ultimate Performance' mode in BIOS, but temps hit 96℃ and caused a massive thermal throttle—totally stupid move. I used GamePP Power Plan Switcher to force the performance profile and set the process to Real-time via GamePP Resource Scheduler Panel. The smoothness finally returned. I noticed some annoying coil whine at first, which only went away after I tweaked the C-State options. CPU is now 70-76℃ and VRM is 62-68℃ per AIDA64.
