Combat in Alien Breed - Impact was destroying my immersion; CPU temps hit 85-89℃ per HWiNFO, causing severe stutter. I tried changing the Windows power plan to High Performance, but it only lowered the voltage slightly without improving airflow, leaving the system unstable. I switched to the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel, raising fan speed from 1100 to 1700 RPM and setting the trigger threshold to 72℃. Within minutes, temperatures dropped to a stable 65-70℃ range. RTSS confirmed frame intervals tightened from 13.5-17.2ms to 9.4-10.6ms. The cooling is now aggressive enough to handle sustained loads, saving my hardware from thermal degradation.
