Thermal Tuning for R6 Siege
Entering smoke-covered areas, my frame rate would plummet from 165 to 80 without warning, while fans screamed. I tried full speed in BIOS, which only dropped temps by 5℃ but sounded like a power drill; the result was ironic and annoying. I utilized the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to set a 74℃ trigger and a linear increase for 80-90℃, capping speed at 2100 RPM. Cinebench R23 confirmed peak temperatures were suppressed to 77-82℃ per AIDA64. HWMonitor showed 75-81℃ and GamePP tracked voltage at 1.22-1.30V.
