Why are faces blurry in Crysis Remastered?

I was annoyed by the soft filter on Crysis faces. I tried DLSS Balanced mode, which made blurriness worse. I used GamePP DLSS/FSR Calibrator to raise sharpening from 50 to 75. RivaTuner confirmed sharpness. I can finally switch to a crisp view.
