How to fix high read latency on Kioxia EXCERIA PLUS G3 2TB in Elden Ring?

I was horrified by the black screens during fast travel in Elden Ring. The Kioxia EXCERIA PLUS G3 2TB latency spiked from 8ms to 25ms. I tried reinstalling drivers, but it failed. Then I used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Config to set the queue depth from 512 to 1024. I also switched the power plan to High Performance.
