How to fix the GPU temperature spike and auto-throttling in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 with Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5070 Ti AERO OC 16G?

I noticed the GPU temperature rapidly climbed to 85°C during combat, triggering auto-throttling and a sudden frame rate drop. I tried maxing out the fan speed to 100%, but the noise was huge and the temperature only dropped by 2°C, which was unsustainable. I used GamePP Fan Curve Configuration to set 70°C as the acceleration trigger and replaced the thermal paste. AIDA64 stress test showed core temperature dropped to 72°C and frame rate stabilized.
