Resolving SLC Cache Overflow Latency
I was anxious when story loads took 10 seconds, with read speeds dropping from 7000MB/s to 1500MB/s. I tried increasing virtual memory, which actually lowered my frame rates and made things worse. It was a counterproductive move. I accessed GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration, raising the depth from 1024 to 2048 and setting power management to High Performance. CrystalDiskMark showed 4K random reads jumping from 55-60MB/s to 75-80MB/s. Loads now finish in 4 seconds. The drive stays cool at 48-55°C, and the set is complete.
