How to stabilize DDR5 memory on Jginyue B760M for Nioh 2?
That horizontal slicing effect during a perfect block is a dead giveaway that the memory controller is tripping over high-frequency data. On the Jginyue B760M Gaming D5, I noticed DDR5 latency swinging wildly between 75-98ns, which completely wrecked the frame pacing. I tried enabling Windows Game Mode and killing background apps, but gaining 2 FPS didn't stop the tearing—it was just a band-aid. I dove into the BIOS and swapped the auto timings to 36-38-38-76, then bumped the DRAM voltage from 1.25V to 1.32V. In AIDA64, the response time finally leveled out at 72-76ns. It was a struggle; I hit two Blue Screens of Death (BSOD) while tightening the timings until I loosened tRAS to 80. Now, with memory temps at 45-52℃ and the southbridge at 55-61℃, the synchronization is flawless. After 4 cycles of MemTest86, it's rock solid.
