Stopping Shadow of Erdtree Lag
I felt a jarring sense of stuttering during the most intense visual moments while fighting bosses in the Land of Shadow. I tried enabling power-saving mode in my drivers, but while temps dropped 5℃, my minimum FPS plummeted to 15, making combat impossible. I then used the GamePP BIOS Load-line Voltage Adjustment Wizard to set the mode to L3 and increased the CPU offset voltage by +0.03V. HWInfo showed the previous 0.1-0.2V Vcore drops vanished, and FrameView confirmed frame generation time converged to 16-22ms. AIDA64 monitored temps at 72-78℃ during the fight.
