Is the Onda 9D4-DVH VRM overheating in PUBG Battlegrounds?

Watching my FPS bounce between 80 and 40 during a final circle fight was an absolute nightmare. The VRM on the Onda 9D4-DVH is pretty basic, and under heavy load, temps were spiking to 105-110℃, forcing the CPU to downclock aggressively to save itself. I tried switching the Windows power plan to 'Balanced,' but that just killed my performance, dropping my 1% lows to a pathetic 25 FPS. I decided to get physical: I rigged a small 4cm fan to blow directly onto the VRM chokes and manually capped the PL1 power limit to 95W in the BIOS. Monitoring with HWMonitor, the VRM temps dropped from 108℃ to a manageable 82-88℃, and the frame variance shrunk from 22 FPS down to about 6 FPS. I actually messed up the fan header and had it spinning backwards at first, which was a facepalm moment. CPU temps stayed between 75-81℃. The input lag is gone now and the game feels much more responsive, though the board is clearly struggling with the heat.
