Is the Cooler Master ML360 SUB-ZERO struggling in Crimson Desert?
Every time I hit a massive battle, my core temps would jump between 85℃ and 98℃, which honestly gave me a lot of anxiety. The semiconductor cooling module on the Cooler Master ML360 SUB-ZERO is way too slow to respond in default mode, letting heat build up at the core before it even reaches the radiator. I tried locking the pump at 100% in the software, but the resulting resonance noise was a nightmare for my ears. I ended up going into the BIOS and linking the pump speed to the CPU temp, triggering 90% max speed at 70℃, while also blowing out all the dust from the radiator fins. HWiNFO showed the temp delta shrink from a massive 13℃ swing down to just 4-6℃, stabilizing at 74-80℃. I did have a scare where a fan cable came loose during cleaning and the fan stopped entirely, but a quick re-seat fixed it. Now the CPU stays around 78℃ with the pump humming at 3000 RPM. The temp spikes are gone, and the input lag is finally nonexistent.
