How to fix I/O lag in Counter-Strike 2 on Colorful CVN B760M?
This board felt like it was running in slow motion under competitive pressure; input lag was hitting 20ms, making every flick feel like I was dragging my mouse through mud. I tried updating every single driver to the latest beta versions, but all I got was a 2 FPS gain and some weird mouse drifting—absolutely ridiculous. I decided to go into the BIOS and downclock the memory from 6400MHz to 6000MHz, then forced the tCL down to 30. Looking at the monitoring panel, memory latency dropped from 78ns to 62ns, and frame generation times stabilized from 6-15ms down to 4-8ms. I actually BSOD'd three times while tightening the timings, so I had to bump the DRAM voltage by 0.03V to keep it stable. CPU usage is sitting at 40-60% and RAM is around 8GB. I exported the response logs to a text file to verify, and the fans are humming along at 1400-1600RPM. It's finally playable.
