Fixing system crashes on Crucial DDR4 3200MHz 8GB
It's honestly pathetic that 8GB of RAM can cause a full system crash in Hitman 3, but that's the reality of this hardware. While processing heavy NPC AI, the Crucial DDR4 3200 memory controller had a sharp 0.04V drop from its 1.2V baseline, leading to a total black screen right after the map finished loading. I tried bumping the virtual memory to 32GB, but that just made loading times three minutes longer without stopping the crashes—totally useless. I finally went into BIOS, dropped the frequency from 3200MHz to 2666MHz, and pushed the voltage to 1.35V for absolute stability. In a 2-hour OCCT stress test, voltage swings stayed under 0.01V and I didn't see a single crash. I lost about 2GB/s of bandwidth, but that's way better than having the PC reboot mid-mission. RAM temps are 42-48℃ and VRMs are at 58-64℃. Saved the profile to BIOS and the game finally feels responsive.
