Why does Horizon freeze at 90% loading with high CPU temp?

Horizon froze at 90% while my CPU hit 92-95°C. Restarting did nothing. I used GamePP Hardware Sensor to find a 45°C delta T. After cleaning the radiator and replacing coolant, Cinebench showed temps dropping to 72-76°C, and loading time reduced to 10 seconds.
