Why does the Seagate FireCuda 540 1TB cause I/O blocking and increased load times in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle?

When the loading screen hung for 5 seconds, I felt my immersion shatter. I initially tried increasing the queue depth to 2048, but the controller overheated and throttled, making things worse. I then used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to adjust the depth from 1024 to 1280 and enabled low-latency priority mode. GamePP Hardware Sensors confirmed the controller temperature stabilized below 52℃, and loading times converged to 1.5 seconds with smooth I/O response curves.
