Stabilizing voltage for Galax A320M Dragon in Overwatch 2
The rush of seeing 1% lows finally stay above 100 FPS was incredible. At first, during team fights, my FPS would jump between 144 and 80 like an EKG monitor. GamePP sensors showed CPU clocks swinging from 3.0-4.2 GHz with voltage fluctuations of 0.06V. I tried 'Maximum Performance' in the drivers, but that just made the fans scream without fixing the jumps; it was incredibly annoying. I then used the GamePP BIOS Load-Line Voltage Adjust Wizard, switched from Auto to Manual, and added a +0.01V offset. 3DMark showed a perfectly smooth frequency curve, with FPS staying above 130. I did black-screen my system three times while chasing a crazy overclock, but stability won in the end.
