Fixing Kingston DDR4 2666 memory latency in Nioh?
During fast combos, the image just freezes in this weird, irritating way. GamePP Frame Time Analyzer showed spikes between 12ms and 42ms, even though RAM usage was only 60-70%, meaning that 2666MHz clock was a massive bottleneck. I tried increasing the page file, and while it stopped the crashes, the stuttering remained—a total waste of time. I used GamePP BIOS Load-Line Voltage Adjust Wizard to push the RAM voltage from 1.2V to 1.35V and dropped tRFC from 600 to 560. The smoothness came back instantly. I got a black screen on boot after disabling power saving, which only got fixed by recalibrating the memory training parameters. RAM is 40-45℃ and CPU is 62-68℃ per AIDA64.
