How to optimize core scheduling on Jginyue X99M-PLUS D4?
While exploring the open world, I kept getting these tiny jitters that made me want to throw the motherboard out the window. GamePP Hardware Sensor Page revealed the core load on the Jginyue X99M-PLUS D4 was a mess (between 15% and 95%), with some cores idling while others were choking. I tried adjusting Windows scheduler for background services, but my FPS dropped by 15, which was a huge disappointment. I fired up GamePP Resource Scheduler Panel to max the priority and locked the compute threads to physical cores via Process Priority Manager. The jump in fluidity was insane. I did get a brief black screen on boot, which only got fixed after recalibrating the memory training parameters.
