Optimizing resource scheduling for iGame RTX 3060 Ultra W 12G
The smoothness during scene transitions is finally back, and the difference is night and day. Before this, every time I jumped out of a building into an open area, the distant building textures would stay blurry for 1-2 seconds. The GamePP Hardware Sensor Page showed VRAM usage was only 7-9 GB, but the bandwidth utilization was spiking like crazy between 92-98%. I first tried dropping texture quality to Medium, but the game looked like mud and the loading lag was still there; sacrificing visuals for nothing left me feeling totally defeated. Then I went into the GamePP Resource Scheduler Panel and set the game process VRAM priority to High, and manually wiped 4.2 GB of redundant shader cache.
