Managing cache for Asgard Bragi II DDR5 6000 under stress?
Man, once those magic effects kick in, the memory goes into slow-motion mode. The Asgard Bragi II DDR5 6000 is beastly, but under extreme pressure, once the SLC cache overflows, speeds crash from 6000MB/s to 700MB/s. It felt like playing off a cheap thumb drive. I tried cranking virtual memory to 64GB, but the system just gave me a 'BSOD gift pack', which was just great. I eventually used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Config to push the queue depth to 2048 and forced write cache flushing. CrystalDiskMark showed a 30% boost in 4K random reads, and combat transitions became instant. The drive took 2 seconds longer to be recognized at first, but it's fine in High Performance mode.
