Samsung 9100 PRO 8TB disk stutter fix for Spider-Man
During high-speed dives through the city, I noticed these tiny, sharp hitches. In 4K, it's super obvious. I checked the GamePP Hardware Sensor Page and saw the Samsung 9100 PRO 8TB hitting 72-78°C on HWiNFO. It wasn't hard-throttling yet, but the controller was definitely fluctuating. I tried lowering texture quality in-game, but the hitches stayed, which proved it was a disk I/O thermal issue, not VRAM—that trial and error was key. I jumped into the GamePP Fan Curve Config Panel and forced the M.2 heatsink fan to 88% once it hit 65°C. RTSS frame time analysis showed the spikes dropping from 14-28ms down to 12-16ms, and the hitching totally vanished.
