Backup cooling plan for Jonsbo CR-1400E ARGB in Returnal
When dealing with massive particle effects, CPU temps hit 96℃ (AIDA64 monitoring), causing frequent throttling that crashed my FPS from 80 to 40 (RTSS monitoring); it was absolutely maddening. Monitoring showed the Jonsbo CR-1400E ARGB default curve responded too slowly before 80℃, letting heat build up. I first tried lowering the CPU power limit in BIOS, but the minimum FPS tanked to 25 (RTSS monitoring); I couldn't help but roast that unstable solution. Then I used the GamePP Fan Curve Config Panel to sharply increase the slope between 60-80℃ and tweaked the CPU voltage offset to -0.04V (CPU-Z monitoring).
