Improving voltage stability for Overwatch 2 on Galax A320M Dragon
Seeing the 1% lows finally stabilize above 100 FPS was an incredible rush. At first, during team fights, the FPS would jump between 144 and 80 like an EKG monitor. The GamePP sensor page showed CPU clocks swinging between 3.0GHz - 4.2GHz with voltage swings of 0.06V. I tried the GPU driver's max performance mode, but that just made the fans louder without fixing the jumps—totally annoying. I then used the GamePP BIOS Load-Line Voltage Adjust Wizard to switch from Auto to Manual and added a +0.01V offset. In 3DMark, the frequency curve became a flat line and FPS stayed above 130.
